| BACKGROUND |
| |
The SI develops an intelligent smart card system for global fitness equipments manufacturers to automate training sessions. Users just need to insert smart cards into Panel PCs, and the system will set the resistance automatically, record each session's performance and provide guidance. The solution provider outsourced the hardware to ICP because they are satisfied with our cost-effective and faster time-to-market proposal. ICP has developed various panel PCs, providing performance superior to commercial PC, tasteful and streamline outlook and industrial-grade durability, to fulfill a wide spectrum of applications. |

Smart Card Reader |
| |
The heart of the system is the Smart Card, so we must re-design the housing to add a smart card reader. ICP has 5 professional and dedicated ID designers. This allows us to complete the ID sketch and get customers' tooling kick-off endorsement in a short run. |

Touch Screen |
| |
The training software is designed to start from loading exercise programs in the Smart Card. This should be completed by means of a touch screen. Thus, we integrated a robust 4/5-wire resistive touch screen display. It offers longer lifetime (almost 10 times of 4-wire resistive touch screen) and high accuracy and durability. |

Front Panel Water Proof Design |

The front panel is IP 64 compliant. IP 64 compliance guarantees the front panel is dustproof and water-proof. |

Features Extension |

The 7" Panel PC is built in two stereo 1.5W/ 3W speakers. It allows future functions extension for music player or voice information without external speakers installation. |

Extended Connectivity |

The mini Panel PC is designed with future requirements in mind, so it supports high speed USB 2.0 connections, external SATA for external storage interface and selectable RS-232/422/485 for fast data transmission. It's also designed around ready for the MSR/card reader devices. If the end customer requests to have internet surfing or on-line coach functions, the high speed WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n WLAN networking is ready to be installed anytime to provide broadband-speed browsing and connectivity. |
